Bagels are well made and FRESHHH!!! The bagels are just really good, always feel like they just came out and have that homeade taste There is one major difference in bagel places, there’s lazy places that make a million bagels to have enough for the day and never fresh and then there’s places that are not lazy like dolce that make the bagels continuously throughout the morning and you get fresh bagels. This place has gotten better over the years somehow. They are being run a little better. The bagels are quality and well made.
We come from Spain as a family trip and we went 2 times to have the bagels and they were delicious, the amount of variety it’s great to find amazing combinations.I recommend the pork roll with cheese and egg.Good service and wonderful staff.
What a lovely little mom & pop cafe! The bagels were delicious, and the jalapeño cream cheese brings the right amount of heat. Everyone behind the counter was friendly, and made sure I was well taken care of. Will definitely return when I'm back in town!
We did an order on our way through the area. All of the food we ordered was delicious, filling and good quality. The turkey club was truly the best I ever had (I think it may have been seasoned turkey they used?) It had a different flavor to it than experienced before and the bread was perfectly toasted and not overly toasted like some of the club sandwiches can be. Fries were great, bagels great, everything. If we're going through the area ever again, we will definitely stop.
I always go out of my way to eat lunch at Dolce. The sandwiches are the best! I just wish they would use a less crusty and hearty bread. I would like a good 50/50 bread to meat ratio. It's delicious none the less. The pastries are awesome too. Affordable, tasty and a great variety. Highly recommended when you are in the Barnegat area.
It's been a long time since I've had a bagel this good. 2 thick slices of pork roll and the right amount of cheese. I'll be back.
Tried this place today for the first time! Can not wait to go back. Pork roll egg and cheese on a gutted toasted habañero bagel! Didn’t expect much spice from the bagel but it was pleasantly spicy and perfectly toasted. I wish I understood how people can leave such negative reviews from a place that is obviously doing their best. And their best is good enough for me!! Can not wait to go back and try more of their delicious items. Priced right and very delicious! They even had a french toast bagel which my date was very happy to see, as not all bagel places have them. Would give six stars if possible. And the NE clam chowder was DEE-lish!!!!!
